![]() Dirt track or asphalt, truck or rally car - take your choice and then take it to the limit. And get a load of how Reckless Racing looks with the Retina Display. VISUAL QUALITY THAT'LL MAKE YOU SAY, "OOOWEEE!" Designed from the get-go to with eye-popping graphic quality, the visual details will really make you feel like you're rolling in the mud deep in the heart of Dixie. It's the dirt-road racing game y'all been waiting for on iPhone and iPod touch. Challenge your buddies in online multiplayer, and get ready to go. THE BEST DOWN 'N DIRTY RACER YOU EVER SAW! Made to maximize the Retina Display, the state-of-the-art visuals will make your eyes bug out as you skid, slip, and slide in traditional top-down racing style. Overall, if you're looking for a classic isometric racer like the days of old, Reckless Racing takes the best of that classic genre and adds in modern graphics and physics to make for an excellent arcade racer. Of course, any single-player racer gets boring after a while, which is why we like that RR offers online multiplayer races for up to four players. This takes place on a larger, more open track-and it's a blast. Then there's Delivery, which is just like it sounds: you pick up and deliver as many packages as you can in a fixed amount of time (3, 5, or 8 minutes). Single-player options include Dirt Rally (your basic championship mode) and Hot Lap (in which you race for the best single-lap time). That more or less brings the total to 10, but we would still love to see EA add some new tracks in a future update. RR offers just five tracks, which does seem a bit limited, though as you progress, you unlock reverse versions of each one. As far as we can tell, each car is identical in terms of handling and performance, which makes for a level playing field and a better game-you're battling the track and your driving skills, not the car. The game's half-dozen vehicle options include Otis' flame-adorned pickup, Cletus' old army jeep, Floyd's cab truck-you get the idea. Cars skid and slide and screech around corners (in varying amounts depending on whether you're on gravel or asphalt). Whatever control option you choose, you'll find absolutely perfect arcade physics. We're partial to the buttons, but we are also enamored with "tank" mode (in which your car just goes flat-out the entire time-all you do is steer). And you get to choose from five different control schemes-everything from basic left/right-gas/brake buttons to an onscreen steering wheel, to accelerometer steering. Reckless Racing is absolutely dazzling, with vibrantly colored cars and tracks that are just shy of photorealistic. The game delivers on two major counts: graphics and controls. Many different racetrack options are waiting for us in the game.Reckless Racing is just plain fun, taking some gameplay ideas from old classic console games like RC Pro-Am, and adding in modern graphics and physics to make a racing game that is a blast to play and looks great on the iPhone 4 Retina Display. Reckless Racing Ultimate LITE is very satisfying graphically. We can play the game in single player mode as well as compete with other players in multiplayer mode and get our name on the leaderboards. Reckless Racing Ultimate LITE allows us to add new vehicles to our car collection as we win races. In Reckless Racing Ultimate LITE, the player is presented with a choice of vehicles, from classic American cars to huge 4WD and buggies. We start the game by building our own car, and as we progress in the game, we can modify our vehicle and customize its many different features. This structure adds a completely different atmosphere to the game. ![]() In the game where the arcade atmosphere is dominant, we control our aba from a birds eye view. ![]() Reckless Racing Ultimate LITE, a game developed by Microsoft Studios, has a very different structure from ordinary racing games. Reckless Racing Ultimate LITE is a racing game that offers a different car racing experience to game lovers, and that you can play on your computers with Windows 8 and higher versions.

Uhh… it’s NOT linen, but whatever, that’s pretty expensive for this piece. (houzz is a storefront, they say NOT the vendor.) ![]() The first is this Chesterfield sofa found on multiple sources on houzz. Honestly, guys, every time I read this, I feel sickīut, let’s put this into some concrete terms and the way to do that is to look at the products I sent in for trade pricing on houzz. They give your client 5% off and you also get 5% that you get to REINVEST at houzz. There ARE thousands of products and if only one of them has a 50% discount, then they are telling the truth. Trade pricing: I do not have a trade account, but I have sources that do and I asked them to look into a few random pieces and get back to me with the trade discount.įolks, in every case looked at, the discount to designers is 3% and usually only for REINVESTMENT WITH HOUZZ! Well, duh… of course they do, because without designers, there would be no houzz!īut let’s investigate the Houzz trade program. Houzz claims that they care about designers. I began my research by looking at the Houzz trade program. The biggest complaint that I’m hearing from interior designers is that they are afraid that houzz has been using them this entire time for Houzz’s gain, but at the designer’s expense.Īnd they believe that Houzz’s merger with Ivymark is the proof. However, I’m not one to rely on hearsay and speculation.Īnd I figured if lil ol’ me was going to take on the GIANT HOUZZ, I would need to beef up, grow some balls and arm myself with slingshot, T-square and the facts. I’ve vowed that if I see something, (big) I’m going to say something. The interior design community, in an effort to assert their position and gain some control has created a petition which after my research, I do urge you sign this is the link to access it. (At this time, I would like to recommend that you put down your coffee/tea/wine and SWALLOW. I needed to know more about this situation and share my findings as I did with Restoration Hardware. It was all over social media.Īnd that is when my curiosity was piqued. Hundreds of designers who have been using Ivy to build their businesses, said that they feel phenomenally betrayed as now houzz has all of their private client information. The outcry in the interior design community has been nothing like I’ve ever heard before. They have about 2,400 designers who pay about 700 a year for the service. Lee Rotenberg and Alexandra Schinasi all the way back in 2016. ![]() Ivymark is an interior design management system started by two young, ambitious women. (Now called IvyMark) – purportedly for from 30-40 million dollars. I did notice this but didn’t pay much attention to it.īut, things started heating up (to put it mildly) When early last month, Houzz purchased a young start-up company called Ivy. A few years ago, houzz started selling furniture. While a few interior designers DO get jobs from houzz, mostly one hears about the plethora of “tire kickers” wanting ONLY free advice. “Well, I guess that you’re not ready to grow your business.”Įventually, they got the message and the calls stopped.Īfter that experience, I was dubious about houzz and their true intentions, but I just went about the business of growing my brand on my own platform– this website. I don’t remember how much it was then, but these days the pro program is $3,500 a year my sources tell me.Īfter the first call or two, I started getting an uneasy feeling, especially after the woman snidely said: However, not from potential customers, but from marketing folks from houzz urging me to sign up for their “pro program.” This is a paid program for which houzz promises far more internet exposure. Then, in late 2012, the calls did start coming! And I’m not saying that this is their fault but I received no phone calls from my profile. So, I put up a few photos from my portfolio and wrote a little blurb and waited for the phone to ring. In the beginning, I recall it as being a charming idea that would undoubtedly help me grow my business as we were slowly coming out of the deep recession of ’08-’09. Like a lot of things, I’m not sure how I first heard about houzz, but I do know that I’ve had a profile on it, since 2010. ![]() Plus there are profiles from auxiliary businesses anything having to do with the business of home building and furnishings. At its core are some 200,000 interior designers who’ve uploaded millions of images from their own portfolios that are shared in millions of idea books. Over time, Houzz has grown into a business worth four billion dollars. It was started by a husband and wife, Adi Tatarko and Alon Cohen in 2010 their corporate headquarters are in Palo Alto, CA. Most of you are most likely familiar with Houzz, but if not Houzz is a website and online community about home improvement, decorating, landscaping etc. The last several weeks, there has been much buzz in the interior design community regarding the giant home furnishings website, Houzz. ![]() The cookie is used to store the user consent for the cookies in the category "Performance". An oscillograph also includes high-voltage and low-voltage power supplies. In the absence of a delay line, only that part of the signal (represented in Figure 1 by curve B) that appears after time t\ is visible on the tube’s screen. The delay line compensates for the operating times of the synchronizer and the time base, since these times are slightly shorter than the time delay of the signal. Since the signal under study triggers the time base, and since the synchronizer and time base do not respond instantly but with a delay of fractions of a microsecond, a delay line must be introduced in the vertical-deflection channel in order that the initial part of the signal be observed. The pulse is a square wave with positive polarity and a duration equal to that of the forward sweep of the beam. In order that the electron beam may be visible only while it is sweeping forward, that is, when t 2- t 1 > 0, the time base produces a pulse, E, to brighten the beam that is fed to the tube’s control grid, which acts as a modulator. This is achieved by passing the signal from the vertical amplifier to a synchronizer that forms a trigger pulse, C, for the time base at a selected point in the signal. In order to project on the tube’s screen a stable image of the signal under study, every new sweep must begin at the same phase of the signal. The electron beam is moved horizontally at a constant rate, thus creating the linear time base. The sawtooth voltage is fed to the input of the horizontal-deflection amplifier, which in turn feeds its output voltage, F, to the horizontal-deflection plates of the tube. The beam is moved horizontally by a time-base generator that produces a sawtooth voltage, D, which varies linearly with time. The signal under study, A, is fed to the input amplifier for vertical deflection, which has an adjustable gain and is designed to make the magnitude of the beam deflection correspond to the magnitude of the input signal.
